GTR Tractor Tyre – A Quick Turnaround Advertising Campaign

One of our most rapid campaigns, developed and executed in just two days, was the GTR Tractor Tyre TVC. The most exciting part? We were simultaneously shooting the GTR thematic film, creating a seamless flow of creativity. During the thematic film shoot, Ehmer Kirmani, our Chief Creative, Filmmaker, and Storyteller, was deep in discussions with the marketing team about the ideation and vision for the GTR Tractor Tyre TVC.

The credit for this success goes to the visionary GTR team and our trusted Marcom consultants. They immediately approved the bold concept, trusting us as their long-term brand-building partner. Remarkably, they gave the green light to proceed with shooting the commercial on the spot, even without a formal script or storyboard, based on our proven creativity, capabilities, and expertise.

We pride ourselves on delivering cost-effective productions, particularly since our entire crew was already outstation for the GTR Tyre thematic film shoot. This not only saved valuable time and resources but also allowed us to focus on the key messaging for the GTR Tractor Tyre.

The core of the campaign highlights the vital role of the tractor and tyre in the life of a farmer. The tractor isn’t just a machine; it’s a companion and a hardworking partner that helps bring prosperity to farming families by thriving in all kinds of agricultural fields.

GTR Tractor Tyres—manufactured with advanced German technology in Pakistan—offer unmatched quality, strength, and durability. This is why farmers proudly sing, “GTR Tractor Tyre.. Ballay Wai Ballay,” reflecting their trust in a brand that’s built to last.

Additionally, we have previously worked with New Holland in the tractor sector, delivering Pakistan’s first-ever tractor communication. This successful collaboration led to the launch of the “Dubung” model, inspired by the iconic brand capsule “Dabung Hai Mera Yaar.”

Ehmer and his team worked with precision and agility—arranging everything from recce to finalizing locations, props, wardrobe, and models. They ensured that every detail was in place, even on the break day, to roll the shoot seamlessly the following day.

Agritech (Formerly Pak-American Fertilizers LTD) was launching its first Nitrogenous & Phosphatic fertilizers in Pakistan and required a marketing campaign to engage the farmers, particularly from Rural Punjab.

Creativecom was engaged to work on the launch marketing campaign from deriving the brand strategy, brand nomenclature, identity, branding, packaging and full-fledge adverting campaign from TV, Print, Radio and Out of Home.

For this, we had to plug deep into their lives.

  • The star, for them, was more than just a symbol.
    • They see stars on TV when they’re with their family.
    • Stars signify new hopes, fulfillment and a promise of property in their lives.
    • Plus, most of all, they want to be the stars of their families
  • By bringing up their family happily & ensuring them a brighter future & quality life.
  • Having their family and their peers look up to them.
  • These were the emotive associations that were used in communication.

The nomenclature & communication derived from the above insights of the farmer’s lives, which were that the good crop is the ‘Star” of the farmer” that brings real prosperity in their lives; that’s how the brand name “Tara Urea” was born.

Another aspect of Tara was named keeping in mind the illiteracy levels of rural Pakistan; most farmers cannot read and often depend on strong symbols and icons to differentiate between various brands.

When it comes to brand strategy & storytelling, humanizing the brand and building an emotional bonding & relationship with farmers by positioning Tara Urea as “Khushhali ke Bunyaad”.

Tara Urea not only transformed arid land into lush green productive fields but increased the overall yields and ensured good quality crops. That’s why Tara Urea became the Tara of every farmer and earned his trust by bringing real prosperity to their lives.

We associated the brand with the best celebrities of the Pakistani cinema, Nirma, Arbaz Khan, Tauqeer Nasir, and Saba Faisal. Celebrity singer Jawad Ahmed sang the song and famous music director & composer Sahir Ali Bagga worked on the soundtrack to create the desi-style filmy piece.

Thus ensuring that Tara’s message shone through cultural and cinematic-style communications considering the target audience.

Besides working on an advertising campaign comprised of a TV commercial, Print, OOH, Radio and branding, we have also worked out on branded entertainment content in the form of the music video to help the brand Tara not only to become the TOM in a quick period but effectively & efficiently create a strong emotive bond with the farmer.

The communication was super hit by winning the heart & trust of farmers, and today Tara Urea is one of the most celebrated and trusted brand names in the fertilizer market.

Media Idee took on yet another remarkable Institute working with the educational mogul Cambridge International Examinations to execute a conference for the notable educational gurus. The generic theme revolved around “Reflective Learning” which educated the teachers and instructors to evaluate their teaching methods and share knowledge and ideas. A multitude of principals from 150 Cambridge Associate Schools put in an appearance at Avari Towers which was the venue for the event.

Although the event was relatively large scale since it entertained educational professionals from UK and similar academic giants, Media Idee executed the entire event with sheer finesse. The ambiance of the halls at Avari generously carried a nuance of sophistication with class and MI team took full advantage of it to season it with perfection.

MI believes that execution should be timely and well-administered so on that account, the effectuation for the entire event adhered to that policy.

A rather exceptional activity was executed when MI team, on Cambridge’s suggestion recruited a caricature artist to visually doodle the key points in the speeches. This helped capture key information in an engaging way, giving participants a really effective visual representation of the speeches to reflect on after the event.

The display panels as provided by the Cambridge team were fabricated and put up by the operational team at MI. A photography area was embroidered with a Cambridge backdrop to click memorable pictures of the attendees and their fellow acquaintances.

MI Event team organized the entire event with panache, fulfilling Cambridge’s brief, and rest assured, the event was a marvellous achievement for Media Idee.
